 Things to Remember

 Every day, children need to bring in a named water bottle and if they would like to, they may bring in a piece of fruit for a snack at playtime. 

 Children will need to bring their reading books and Reading Journals into school every day.

Year 3 have a PE lesson each Monday. We ask that children wear PE kits to school on this day.

Home Learning

Throughout their time in Year 3, children are expected to engage in a variety of home learning activities which support them in knowing more and remembering more of the content we teach.

All children will be set and English and Maths task each week which they will need to either complete in their Orange Home Learning Books or their Maths GPG books. Home Learning will be set on a Friday and will need to be brought back to school on the following Thursday at the latest.

All children are expected to read regularly and this should be recorded in their Reading Journals. Reading books will be changed on Mondays and Thursdays.

Children have access to the online learning platform Times Tables Rock Stars where they will be able to practise and develop their Maths skills.
